Dr. Yoo’s love for animals began as a child while growing up with all sorts of animals – dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, goats, horses, chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks, fish, and tortoises. His interest in animals led him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. After graduating from Western University of Health Sciences in 2011, Dr. Yoo has practiced at multiple practices throughout Southern California and is committed to providing high-quality medical care for pets.
One of the unique practices he worked at is Vet4HealthyPet with Dr. Roy Kramer, who is considered the guru of brachycephalic breeds. There, Dr. Yoo started building special interest in these short-nose breeds and developed a deep understanding of the unique health challenges faced by these breeds, including respiratory issues, skin conditions, and orthopedic problems.
Dr. Jae Yoo is committed to educating pet owners about the specific care needs of brachycephalic dogs, focusing on preventive measures that promote long-term health and comfort. Known for his compassionate approach, Dr. Yoo strives to build lasting relationships with both pets and their families.
In October of 2024, Dr. Yoo opened his first practice and continues to provide compassionate care and build long-lasting relationships with pets and their owners.
